Dear Mr. Florence,
I completely agree with you that blogging has some disadvantages; however, you can take what some people see as issues and turn them into positives. People value your opinion and will respect the fact that you are willing to let the common man respond.
As you stated the majority of the comments left have been positive. There will always be those who disagree with how we handle the business, but this forum will give us the opportunity to reply to those comments. While we will not be able to control what is said we can control how their concerns are responded to. Others with the same concerns but who are not willing to express them will be able to see how we respond to others negative comments. By setting the people strait we will alleviate the possibility that those same people are spreading defamatory comments about our company. Your ability to respond in a professional manner will show others that this is a place for professionalism.
This type of forum will open up the opportunity to speak to people that would never normally have this ability. Please reconsider taking up blogging as I believe this would be a chance for us to reach and entirely new group of consumers.
