Many have inquired about my recommendation to visit Comic-Con in San Diego next summer. Comic-Con International is a convention completely devoted to the comic industry, highlighting a variety of the arts and entertainment media. This includes comic books, video games, movies, and collectibles. Comic-Con is the social even of the year for most comic fans, attracting over 120,000 guests. While at the convention, interest yourself in the many workshops and seminars being presented. Participation is welcomed and encouraged. Come and attend the award shows, exhibits, and art galleries!
The cost for attendance can be split into two options. A 4-day pass without the preview night is $105 for adults, and $52 for children ages 12-17 and seniors over the age of 60. For 1-day attendees, passes for adults will be $37 and passes for children and seniors will be $18 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. One-day passes will cost $20 for adults and $10 for children and seniors on the following Sunday. The purchasing of on-sight passes will not be an option, attendees will only be allowed to pre-register and receive passes upon attendance. Registration is currently temporarily closed, and available tickets are running out, so hurry and pre-register today!
