It has come to my attention that many of you have been wanting to know more about the up coming event Comic-Con. Comic-Con has been a growing event and will continue to spread. It is an annual fan convention that is held in San Diego since 1970. There are many other places that hold their own Comic-Con that are not affiliated with each other. It is normally a four day that show cases comic books, science fiction/fantasy films and television shows. With the growing trend it has started to expand to include a range of pop culture elements, such as horror, anime, manga, animation, toys, collectible card games and video games. This convention is the largest in the Americas and the fourth largest in the world.
Since it is turning into such a popular event, registration in advance is required for Comic-Con international attendees. If you want to get badges for all four days of the spectacular event it is priced at $105 for adults and $52 for seniors/children. A single day pass for the first three days are $37 for adults and $18 for seniors/children. For the last day of Comic-Con it is $20 for adults and $10 for seniors/children. Children under 12 are free with paid adult registration. Seniors are 60 years or older and Juniors are 12 years old to 17 years old. There is a military discount for active military persons but does not extend to dependents.Tickets are know and do sell out, and you can not buy badges on the site, so please preregister as early as you possibly can.
There are more than 400 events over the four days, Comic-Con's program slate is the largest in the nation. Programs include major comics publisher presentations, spotlighted panels featuring all the special guest, major movie studio programs, TV networks,and much more. This is a very large event but it is very organized and safe.
