Just like with any other big company, we at Cisco understand the concern of peoples safety. We would never intentionally sell products to countries to invade anyone's personal rights. At Cisco we are not violating any exportation laws regarding our supplies to Chinese police agencies. Cisco follows all United States exportation regulations on what we can sell and what we are not allowed to sell. We do not feel that we treat our exports of supplies to China any different than we would to other countries. Our policies are in place to reflect the same treatment of Chinese patrons as with our other international patrons.

Cisco provides products that are intended for safe use. We understand that some people may try and use our products for harmful intent, but it is the responsibility of the consumer on how they use it. We only make the products to be used in a safe manner, but can not control how the Chines police choose to use vs trying to control any other person/agency. We do our part by following all the rules and regulations and expect our consumers to do the same.

You must understand that if the Chinese did not receive products from us they would simply just go to another company and get their supply there. With that said, they can still have the same use of the products just from a different company. If we stop selling to China it will not prevent anything from happening they will just take their business else where.
