Post 12

It has come to our attention that Cisco has been accused of selling illegal items to the Chinese police force. We understand all laws the US government has enforced to restrict the export of products that could be used to violate human rights. We have thoroughly investigated and determined these laws were not broken. The law clearly restricts low-tech devises, which are not sold by Cisco. We offer high-tech equipment to corporations located around the world.

Cisco offers many different tools that have multiple uses. It is not feasible for Cisco to monitor the way in which our products are used at all times. It is left to the consumer using our products to make wise decisions and not abuse the power of the equipment.

Again, we take all accusations, large or small, very seriously and will continue to investigate this matter with the US government to ensure we are complying with all exportation laws.
