Post 8

With more and more people using PowerPoint to deliver presentations, we are seeing it used poorly so many times that a new phrase has been coined to describe the poor use of visuals during a presentation, "Death by PowerPoint". This is because of different problem we see with presentations today. People tend to focus more on the visuals than the content, so the audience may leave the presentastion thinking that the pictures were nice but they dont seem to remember anything else. Another problem that seems to accure with PowerPoint presentations in my opinion is that the slides cant be seen clearly. Its important to use larg fonts so that people in the back can see the slide but not too big to where it takes 10 slides to present one idea.

Most of the presentations I have presented in the past have been PowerPoints. I am a big fan but I could live without it. I would just go back to the old poster board and flash cards.
