When I first saw previews of The Social Network, I thought it looked rather boring. I haven't seen the movie and don't plan on it. I really don't use facebook so a movie about it doesn't appeal to me much.
After reading Zuckerburg's biography, it seems he's a really smart guy who took actions getting the network started and kept moving forward. I was surprised to see the producers didn't talk with Zuckerburg first before making the film. I would be disappointed also if I was portrayed negatively in a movie. I think if they were going to change some situations, such as, the reason for starting the site, then they should change the names of the characters as well. This movie is going to have an impact on Zuckerburg's reputation one way or the other.
As one of the articles stated, people may either use facebook more because of it or draw away from it more.
